Everyone lost!

No one has picked a day past Friday for the baby pool. It’s now Saturday and Junior has yet to make his/her appearance. We’re still in waiting mode right now but will be discussing induction with my midwife when I see her again on Wednesday. Here’s hoping that something happens before then though. Jason’s mum is arriving from England today for 10 days to meet her new grandbaby and I don’t have one for her yet!

Hit and RUN

Hey everyone I believe I have neglected to tell you all that my car was hit last Wednesday night. It was parked and I was just about to pull out to run to Walmart and an old man missed the turn and hit the drivers side of my car. He was going very slowly and seemed very confused. I yelled, “you hit my car!” and he told me it was my own **** fault because I was driving in the middle of the road. (Remember my car was PARKED) Hahahaha. He also refused to pullover and he drove away.
I am fine I was a tiny bit shook up but the insurance company has been very nice and are taking care of it all. They have also assured me that they believe the accident was 0% my fault, 100% the other drivers fault so my insurance premiums wouldn’t go up! Yeah!

Who knows by the end of this my car may even look better than it did before!!

HEAD DOWN!!!

I just got back from my ultrasound and, much to our surprise, in the last week the baby has flipped and is now head down. I’m so relieved. Now we’re back on track for a natural birth. Junior’s not so junior though – 7 pounds already and 4 weeks to go!

Check out that little face…

Still head up

Junior is being one stubborn little baby. He/she still hasn’t turned and is getting a bit too big for it to happen. I’m trying one last thing on Wednesday (it’s called an external cephalic version) and if that doesn’t work, I’ll be booked for a c-section around the 20th of October. I’m trying to keep a positive outlook but neither of my midwives seem very hopeful that it will work. Jason and I both figure it’s worth a try though. Cross your fingers and toes for us please!

Andrew The Entertainer Returns

A few weeks ago we got some picutres of the kids in Florida, I placed them on a shelf in my room along with a picture of my neice Melanie and a few of our wedding photos. Last Monday Andrew wanted to look at them, so he sat in the living room and asked me who everybody was. After a few minutes I left him there so I could go and get ready for an appointment. I was in the washroom washing my face and I could hear Andrew talking to himself in the living room, so I turned off the water so I could hear him better. I heard Andrew asking, “do you have any Melanie’s?, Oh, thanks. Do you have any Ryan’s, Go fish. Do you have any Laurens, Oh thanks.” It was hilarious!
