First appointment

This afternoon I had my first appointment with my midwife. She was great and we got along very well. The clinic is in a house so it’s casual and homey, much more suited to me than a doctor’s office. I felt very comfortable there.

I’m back on the 25th of April to see if they can hear a heartbeat. Exciting!

“I didn’t toot on you”

Last night after dinner Andrew was sitting on my knee  at the kitchen table while Graham cleaned up the dishes. Andrew excused himself, got down, stood beside me and tooted. He looked at me and said “I didn’t toot on you”. Graham and I thought this was hilarious. A few days prior Andrew came up to me, put his bum on my shoulder (I was kneeling on the floor) and tooted on me (I wonder who he learned that from). I told him, that was disgusting and to never do it again. Go figure, Andrew listened. It’s a break through for our household.

The Wing Brains Are Alive & Well

I just wanted you all to know that Ryan & Lillian got their report cards last week. Ryan got straight A’s in academics & all but 1 A in conduct. He got a B in conduct in Art. We have issues with that teacher! Lillian has straight E’s (Excellent) -that is a Kindergarten A,except for her handwriting grade which was an S (Satisfactory). Lillian is also being tested for the gifted program, her reading is off the charts. A local bowling alley gives kids a free game for every A they receive on their report cards. A maximum of 6 per child. So we will all be bowling for free. Thanks for the DNA Mum & Dad!

Happy Anniversary Lisa!

Yesterday Lisa and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. Apparently that is the pottery or leather anniversary. I didn’t get her either 🙁

We went to East Side Marios for dinner (when it is my turn to die, I’d like to die from an Italian Wedding Soup overdose) . Afterwards we went to a Christian bookstore on Lake Street looking for VeggieTales stuff. We had a very nice evening together. Julia stayed home with the boys. I was going to say she looked after them, but we question that… (it’s a long story) 🙂

Happy Anniversary Lisa. I love you!

I’m alive

I’m alive and well after another concert in Toronto! YAY! I told mum I wouldn’t get shot.

This had to be one of the best concerts yet (other than muse of course. nothing beats muse). I think Amanda and I were the only ones who knew who the opening band was (Arctic Monkeys). We sang along and danced while everyone just sat there. It was great.

Then Oasis came on stage. It’s all a big blur now. I remember them playing ‘Wonderwall’, Andy Bell’s massive bass solo, Gem’s harmonic solo, every one of Noel’s guitar solos, Liam swearing at the audience (i don’t know why though), and them playing ‘The Masterplan’… my favourite b-side! Good times.

That’s it for now.

Ps: I know it’s pathetic that my only bits of news are my concerts. Meh!

The world of computing

Graham found an excellent deal on a Dell computer. After MANY years of a mediocre computers, and watching Andrea get a shiny new one, I have finally decided to get one as well! I just purchased a new computer on the Dell website. I am very excited about it.

I felt that I hadn’t posted anything on the website in a while and I wanted to share my news

That is about all for now!

Next time I’ll take the receipt out of the bag

So you all know the news by now, there’ll be a new member of the family in November! We are both very excited. We weren’t planning on telling you right away but Graham seemed to have other ideas…

I’m feeling well, just a little tired but a little nap after work and I’m good as new. I promise not to bore you with too many details but I will keep you up to date on all the developments.

Stay tuned for the name picking contest.
