Christine’s 4th and 5th Months

Yes, it’s been two months since my last update. I left the 4th month update so late that I figured I’d just combine the 4th and 5th months. She reached 5 months last Tuesday. I’ve posted pictures in the Christine’s 4th and 5th Months gallery

Christine is a great little baby. Actually, she’s not so little anymore. She chugs back her bottles and is eating her oatmeal and rice “paste”. She still pukes quite a bit. When we were Dr. Pallie’s a month ago, she said it was probably just that her sphincter muscle wasn’t tight enough yet. She didn’t think it was anything to worry about. She is well-proportioned, and nicely plump (or so Lisa says).

I think we’ve mentioned before that she does not like to lie on her back. She likes sitting up in her chair, or being held (but sitting up). We got our “Ultra Saucer” down out of the attic, and she loves it. Between that, and the Jolly Jumper, she bounces an awful lot. You’d think this might make the puking problem worse, but it’s ok 🙂

Lisa thinks that Christine has a full-head of luscious hair. I guess all of the other babies that were born last year have less hair, so I think Lisa is ready to have a perm done. If not a perm, then Lisa is excited to get out the bows and barrettes.

She is back to sleeping through the night again. She goes to bed around 9 or 10 pm, and is up around 7 am. She is a little fussy now, as some teeth are ready to come in. She often has very rosy cheeks, and chews on everything she can get her hands on.
