I got a juicer!

No… not one of those electric ones, but one you use when making grape juice. Our neighbours behind us, Mr. and Mrs. Jones were doing some cleaning in their house and Mrs. Jones called me and asked if I wanted any Mason jars. I said sure (even though I already have 150+) and when Mr. Jones brought them over, he also had a juicer. I was very excited. I was going to be on the lookout for one at Value Village or garage sales. This one is in mint condition and I didn’t have to pay a cent. Too bad I have to wait until September to use it 🙁

Sunday’s family dinner

It looks like the family dinner on Sunday will be at 3 pm at our house. Julia and I have a fireside to go to for 7 pm, but we’ll still have lots of time to spend with everyone. Don’t forget what your “assignments” are. If you can’t remember what you are bringing, or have any questions, talk to Lisa.

I’m 28.3!

I just completed the real age questionnaire at realage.com. Graham is always saying that he’s younger than me. Well, maybe in calendar years, but according to this site, his real age is 31. For those of you who don’t know or remember we are both 30.

Sure shrimp has a flavour. It’s, well… shrimpy!

Sooo, this is the family blog, eh? Well I enjoy the idea of sharing our good times with the family. Plus, I get to brag about how much better my grades are compared to Brie’s. I suppose once I have something meaningful to write about, I will. But for now, let’s just take a page from Andrew’s vocabulary and say, “Why you cockin’ a me?”

Here we go!

So, last Monday night during Family Home Evening I was talking about how neat it would be to have a family blog where we all contributed. Andrea and Brianna could talk about school, Evy and Jeff could talk about the kids and life in Florida, Mom and Dad can talk about their stuff, etc. Everyone here (Julia, Andrea, and Lisa) thought it was a great idea, so tonight before dinner I put up the blog, and Andrea helped me test some “themes” for the site.

So, as the title of this post says, here we go!
