Jeff sent me some pictures a little over a week ago that I’ve finally put up in the gallery. There are a couple of great shots from Disney World, Lillie losing her teeth, and Ryan at the ballgame on his birthday (his name was up on the big Jumbotron thing!).
Andrew finished his first year of school and did very well. He has learned so much already, and is doing amazing with his reading and spelling.
We’ve had a couple of days of “celebration” for him. On Tuesday (his last day of school), I had some meetings in the evening at Church, and I told him he could stay up until I got home. Around 9 pm I was on my way home and I called him asking what treats he wanted me to bring home. He said he wanted chips, ice cream, and pop, and that was it. I got chips, dips, and pop and we watched some cartoons when I got home. He was up until about 11 pm (3 1/2 hours past his school bed time).
Then yesterday he went with Lisa, Matthew, and Andrea to Marineland in the afternoon, and then we did the tourist thing in Niagara Falls when I was done work. We played glow-in-the-dark mini-putt, went up the Ferris wheel, ate at Boston Pizza, went through Movieland, and played in the midway. We had a great time, but as you can imagine, both Andrew and Matthew fell asleep on the way home.
Yesterday after work we had an appointment to have a 3D ultrasound done. It’s amazing what you can see! Some of the shots look very strange as other things get in the way, but you can clearly make out the features of the baby, along with various body parts (arms, legs, fingers, toes). I’ve posted all of the pictures in the family gallery in the 20070619 3D Ultrasound section.
I got most of these pictures ready on Saturday and have gradually put them up. I know it’s a lot, but there’s some good pictures.
Recently a woman at Church (Linda Goodchild) gave Lisa a couple of pictures she had found at her house. They look to me like pictures that were taken on a trip we took to Kirtland. These would be anywhere from Fall 1993 to Spring 1994. I think we still look pretty much the same.
I’ve put up a few small galleries of things that have happened over the last month or so.

I’m sure everyone will want to see the new baby, but since there’s no new yet (but soon!), here are some updates to the gallery:
On the last day that we were in Buckhorn, we went to the Peterborough Zoo. Matthew was walking and fell and hit his face hard (Andrea blames the Crocs). We were really concerned that he had broken his nose. Lisa took him to see Dr. Pallie the next day, and she sent him to get an x-ray. Well, Matthew was fine. And we also got the good news that his toy baby kangaroo also didn’t have any broken bones either.
We’ve been home for a couple of weeks now, and I had some time today to get all the pictures ready from Buckhorn. Other than Mom’s broken arm, everyone had an awesome time. I wish I was rich and could just stay up there on the lake!

We went swimming at the “Sandy Beach” with Nanny and Julia. This was the night we had our annual dinner at Swiss Chalet. And of course in the evening we had the Baby Shower for Alisa and Jason.Day 04 – 20060812 Trip to Buckhorn

After going to Church in the morning, we stayed around the cottage. There are some pictures out on the boat, and of a campfire we had in the evening.
