Poppy made her first visit to the pediatricians on Friday. Here is a shot of just one of her battle scars. She had 2 vaccines, one in each leg. She did very well, a little cry and a bit fussy at night but that was it.

Poppy did very well but her mummy was a wreck! Thankfully we don’t have to do that again for another two months.
At least you are good parents and getting them done. We got a letter from the Public Health Department that said if Andrew didn’t get one shot he’s missing, he’ll be suspended. Yikes!
The Toronto Board of Education will let kids without vaccinations go to school but you have a sign a waiver saying that you’re aware of the risk and that you’ll keep your child home whenever there’s an outbreak (of whooping cough, menengitis, etc.). We thought about it but decided that Poppy would be better off well protected.
good thing we don’t remember the little childhood needles and bumps and bruises. Good girl Poppy, what a trooper!
